The next installment in The Elder Scrolls series should at least try to tackle some of these mysteries and questions surrounding the Dwemer: One of the most enigmatic occurrences in The Elder Scrolls series is the disappearance of this race, the Dwemer. Little is known of how they broke off from the Altmeri elves and how they settled in Morrowind and Skyrim. They are also known as deep elves or dwarves although this is misleading as the Dwemer were no shorter than the human races. The Dwemer were the most technologically advanced race of the Mer to grace Tamriel. The Dwemer are one of the most mysterious races in The Elder Scrolls lore especially since no one of the modern era have ever seen them, save for a few people of the Falion.
